Hello WI SHRM State Conference Attendees!
Thank you for attending the 22nd Annual WI SHRM State Conference! We hope you enjoyed your time in Titletown. From initial feedback, the Conference was another great success! Green Bay welcomed over 1,000 people to the conference – that number includes professional and student attendees, knowledgeable speakers, and enthusiastic exhibitors.
From the opening ceremonies to the closing ceremonies, we hope you took the opportunity to “go for the gold” throughout the conference. Our keynote speakers were inspiring, motivational, and even entertaining! Rebecca Ryan’s presentation gave us a chance to think about the many generational differences. And thanks to Connie Podesta, we now know if our personality type is a circle, square, triangle or squiggly line. Many pre-conference and break-out sessions also provided several knowledgeable speakers on important and timely topics.
Attendees had lots of opportunities to meet new colleagues and connect with “old” friends at the celebration events. From the Exhibit Hall with the opportunity to win great prizes, to the atrium reception with a pianist and Chinese Calligraphy, to the appreciation dinner at Lambeau with the Dueling Pianos (and our own Edith Bunker), we hope that you ended your conference experience on a positive note.
We hope that this conference exceeded your expectations and gave you an opportunity to re-energize as well. We were honored to be your 2008 conference co-chairs!
Mark your calendars for the 2009 conference at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells on October 14-16.
